Soooo, long time no blog (sheepish grin) yeah, life's been rather insane around here. I'm still dealing with some back issues (though they are MUCH improved), but we are also lifting our house to replace the foundation and since all the plumbing was disconnected for a while I took that as my cue to take the kids and go spend some time at my brother house a few hours away. The crazyness isn't over yet, we're down to one working toilet and a single shower and the house is still up on jacks awaiting the foundation, BUT I had stuff I needed to get to so here I am right back in the chaos again, lol!
BUT you came to see a card didn't you! Tough! I don't have a card to show you...it's a treat bag :) topped with a super cute Paper Smooches Pumpkin from the new Spookalicious set.
Supplies:
Cardstock: (purple) Bazzill, Patterned Paper: (Dots and Stripe collection) Echo Park, Stamps: (Pumpkin body, face pieces and "Eek" from the "Spookalicious"set) Paper Smooches, Ink: (black, frost white) ColorBox, Embossing Powder: American Crafts, Die Cuts: (S4-367 Back to Basics Tags, S5-128 Fancy Framed Tags Two) Spellbinders™ Paper Arts, Bakers Twine: The Twinery, Other: Treat Bag
Size: 3.5"x4.5"I picked up these adorable chevron bags a while back from my LSS and thought they'd work perfectly for Halloween. I folded a rosette and stacked on a Spellbinders die cut and a added a Spookalicious build-a-pumpkin with a bit of Bakers twine sandwiched underneath. To add it to the bag I simply folded the top of the bag down (after it was filled of course), slid a Spellbinders tag on the twine that I stamped with a Spookalicious sentiment and tied it to the top.
That way the whole thing slides right off for easy access to the goodies!
That's it from me today :). So, are you having a relaxing summer, or a CRAZY one like me?
Either way, have a fabulous week!
♥ Heidi
