I used the fabulous new Memento Luxe inks from Tsukineko in Teal Zeal (teal), Pear Tart (green) and Morocco (orange) to stamp my images. These inks are designed for mixed media projects and stamping on any nonporous surface, they're even permanent on fabric when heat set! Since they say these can be used on ant nonporous surface I decided to test it out a bit by incorporating some wood veneer onto my card. I have to say they worked perfectly! As you can see the stamping turned out crisp and clean, no bleeding or smudging and the color was opaque and true! It worked fabulously on paper too, nice and creamy, with great coverage. I will definitely be looking to add a few more of these to my ink stash.
The card I created is nice and simple, an embossed background paired with stamped and die cut images. I used the stitched banner outline from the Flag Tags stamp set and the coordinating Flag Tags die, to create my wood veneer banner and added a sentiment created with the Many Thanks set. The banner is topped with a cluster created with the Reflections stamp set.
I hope you have lots of fun on today's hop, and good luck with the prize!
